Dr. Patience C. Onuoha is an attending physician and hospitalist for her own practice in Springfield, Missouri, offering specialized inpatient care to adult patients. With an extensive background in the area, Dr. Onuoha diagnoses and treats patients with a variety of conditions, from admission to discharge, making herself readily available to them in order to facilitate recovery. She performs medical procedures, and consults with other medical sub-specialists in order to accumulate information about the patient and their recovery processes, and work in a concerted effort to help the patient’s condition improve. Renowned for her hard work and passion for all aspects of the medical field, Dr. Onuoha supports patient recovery initiatives by preparing for procedures, consulting with members of the medical community on all areas of medicine, and delivering medical presentations of cases.

Dr. Onuoha completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Additionally, she received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Onuoha is an award-winning medical practitioner whose credits include the Honorable Citizenship Award, which was granted upon her by the Mayor of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She also received the Board of Trustees Scholarship from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Onuoha earned a Board Certification in Internal Medicine, as well as an osteopathic license throughout her illustrious career. Other accreditations include a teaching certification from the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence in California, and a certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She has received a certification in basic life support, and a medical license for the states of Washington, Missouri, New Jersey and Indiana.
